We met with four local building companies to find one to build our single storey house extension. Within ten minutes of meeting Vinny and Jay from VIP, we knew we wanted them to build it - as long as their quote was in the right ballpark, which thankfully it was.
During the first meetings they quickly demonstrated their experience of building home extensions, but more importantly they had a real enthusiasm for our project. We had some design ideas to make it special and they both listened and got excited - then ran with the ideas (unlike one other builder who tried to talk us out of having a window seat with bi-fold window).
They managed to start the project a little earlier than originally planned and the speed of progress was amazing. All the guys working on the project were fantastic (polite, tidy, and wanting to do a good job).
Honestly, I don't think we ever felt particularly stressed at any point during the whole process.
They delivered everything we hoped for and more - they really wanted us to be happy with the extension.
