Bronze package £1000 (ex VAT)

What’s Included:

  • Planning Permission Application – Full submission of your planning application, including all required documentation and paperwork, completed and ready for submission.
  • Application Review – Review of existing drawings and engineering reports to ensure compliance with local regulations and planning rules.
  • Document Handling – Organising and completing all necessary forms for the local authority, ensuring everything is filled out correctly and submitted on time.

Requirements:

  • Architectural Drawings – Must be supplied by you in a finalised format.
  • Engineer Report – Must be provided or confirmed by your structural engineer or relevant professional (we can offer recommendations of structural engineers we work with).

Ideal For:

  • Homeowners or developers who have completed the design work and engineering but require help finalising and submitting the paperwork to get planning approval.

Silver package £2800(ex VAT)

What’s Included:

  • Planning Permission Application – Full submission of your planning application, including all required documentation and paperwork, completed and ready for submission.
  • Application Review – Review of existing drawings and engineering reports to ensure compliance with local regulations and planning rules.
  • Document Handling – Organising and completing all necessary forms for the local authority, ensuring everything is filled out correctly and submitted on time.
  • Custom Architectural Drawings – Tailored architectural designs by a qualified architect, fully compliant with planning requirements and your specific needs.
  • Initial Consultation – A 1-hour consultation to ensure your design vision is in line with local planning requirements.
  • Advice on Materials & Sustainability – Recommendations for sustainable design features, materials, and building methods that could improve your chances of approval or reduce long-term costs.
  • Planning Strategy – Advice on the best planning strategy to maximise your chances of getting approval, based on our experience with local authorities.

Requirements:

  • Pre-existing Engineering Report – Provided by a structural engineer or relevant professional (we can offer recommendations of structural engineers we work with).

Gold package £5500 (ex VAT)

What’s Included:

  • Planning Permission Application – Full submission of your planning application, including all required documentation and paperwork, completed and ready for submission.
  • Application Review – Review of existing drawings and engineering reports to ensure compliance with local regulations and planning rules.
  • Document Handling – Organising and completing all necessary forms for the local authority, ensuring everything is filled out correctly and submitted on time.
  • Custom Architectural Drawings – Tailored architectural designs by a qualified architect, fully compliant with planning requirements and your specific needs.
  • Initial Consultation – A 1-hour consultation to ensure your design vision is in line with local planning requirements.
  • Advice on Materials & Sustainability – Recommendations for sustainable design features, materials, and building methods that could improve your chances of planning approval
  • Full Structural Engineering Report – Structural engineer’s full report to ensure the design meets all required safety, structural, and technical standards.
  • Full Project Consultation – 2-3 hours of in-depth consultation, including advice on budgeting, contractor management, and timelines.
  • Site Assessment – Visit your property to assess the site for any specific challenges or local planning rules that could impact your project.
  • Building Control Coverage – VIP Building Consultancy will handle the building control application and ensure that the project complies with all required regulations and arrange for the necessary inspections throughout the project. Certification will be issued upon competition from the local authority.
  • Optional 1-Year Planning Follow-up – We will be available to answer any questions or address issues that arise after your application is submitted (within one year).

Ideal For:

This package is ideal for those who want to remain hands-off and have larger, complex build requirements. The full works comprise architectural designs, engineering reports, and a clear path to planning approval. Perfect for those who need professional advice and peace of mind throughout the entire planning process.

General Terms for all packages:

  • All prices listed are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
  • All packages are available on a fixed-price basis. Any work outside of the agreed scope will be charged at an hourly rate of £100 + VAT.
  • Additional costs may apply if the project scope changes or if additional services are requested.

Exclusions:

  • For the Bronze package, the client is responsible for providing all required architectural drawings and engineer reports in a suitable format.
  • Other products such as construction drawings are not included in these packages but can be added in at an additional cost, if required.
  • This service package does not include construction services. If you wish to proceed with the construction of the project, additional costs will apply.
  • Any additional consultations beyond the standard time allotted will incur a charge at the standard hourly rate.
  • Planning permission approval is not guaranteed, and any associated costs (e.g., local authority fees, planning fees, or appeals) are the responsibility of the client.


Refund Policy:

  • In the event that planning permission is refused, you will be entitled to a refund for any services within the agreed package that have not yet been undertaken, including but not limited to structural drawings and building control applications.

Risk-Reducing Information:

  • We recommend that the client checks with their local planning authority or council to ensure the project is suitable for the area before beginning the process.
  • If a planning refusal occurs, we are available to discuss the next steps and provide advice on the possibility of a resubmission or appeal.
  • We cannot be held responsible for delays in planning permission approval that are beyond our control, including delays from third-party professionals or local authorities.

Within ten minutes of meeting Vinny and Jay from VIP, we knew we wanted them to build it - as long as their quote was in the right ballpark, which thankfully it was.
